Privacy Policy

This policy describes what this site stores and why. It is written to match what the site actually does, so it is shorter and more specific than most.

The short version

You can read every page here without an account, without giving us anything, and without being tracked by an advertising network. There is no Google Analytics on this site, no advertising pixel and no third-party tracker of any kind. We store something about you only when you hand it over: a newsletter address, or an account.

What we store, and only when you give it

• Newsletter. Your email address, which form it came from, the IP address it was submitted from, and the date. The IP is kept to stop automated sign-up abuse.
• An account. Your email address, the display name you choose, when you registered and when you last signed in. Passwords are stored only as a one-way hash — we cannot read yours, and neither can anyone who obtains the database.
• Continue with Google. If you sign in that way we receive your email address, your name and your profile picture link from Google, and store an identifier so we recognise you next time. We never receive your Google password.
• Saved deals. Which deals you hearted, and when. That is the entire purpose of an account here.
• Sign-in security. Failed sign-in attempts are counted against an IP address so an account cannot be attacked by guesswork. These records clear themselves.

Gifting a deal to a friend

Deal pages carry a "gift this deal" form asking for your name, your friend's name and their email address. We use that address once, to send them the deal, and then discard it — what stays behind is a one-way hash of it, which cannot be turned back into an address and exists only so the same person cannot be mailed repeatedly from this site.

Your friend is not added to any list, receives nothing further from us, and the message tells them so. Please only send a deal to someone you know would want it.

What we never store

No card numbers, no billing addresses, no payment details of any kind. We never see them — payment happens on the operator's site, not here. We do not store your browsing history on this site against your account, and we do not build a profile of what you look at. A friend's email address given to the gift form is not kept either, as above.

Cookies

Four small things, all set by this site:

• pfl_user — keeps you signed in. Set only after you sign in.
• pfl_admin — the same, for staff. It never touches a visitor's browser.
• pfl_age_ok — remembers that you confirmed your age, so the notice does not reappear on every page.
• pfl_popup_subscribed — stored in your browser, not sent to us; it stops the newsletter box reappearing once you have dealt with it.

None of these follow you to other websites. Clearing your browser data removes all of them.

When you click through to another site

Links to offers pass through a redirect on this domain so we can count that the click happened. The count is a number on the deal, not a record of who you are. Once you land on the operator's site, their privacy policy applies and ours no longer does — they will set their own cookies and keep their own records.

Who else sees anything

We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. It is shared only with:

• Our web host, which necessarily stores the database and server logs.
• Google, and only if you chose to sign in with a Google account.
• The email service that delivers verification and password-reset messages.
• A lawful authority, where we are legally required to.

How long we keep it

Account details stay until you ask us to delete them. Newsletter addresses stay until you unsubscribe. Verification codes and password-reset links expire within minutes or an hour and are then useless. Sign-in attempt records clear automatically.

Your choices

• See what we hold. Ask, and we will send you everything tied to your address.
• Correct it. Your name and email can be changed from your account, or ask us.
• Delete it. Ask and your account, saved deals and newsletter entry are removed. This cannot be undone.
• Stop the emails. Every newsletter carries an unsubscribe link.

Write to info@pornforless.com from the address on the account so we know it is you.

Children

This site is for adults only and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly hold data about a minor; if we learn that we have, it is deleted. See age verification.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top changes with it. Questions go to info@pornforless.com.
